Spokane!

Last weekend Lauren and I hit the road to visit Lauren's old roommate Molly.
Why did I go along my mother kept asking? Cause I love Molly. Last year I made frequent trips between Ellensburg, where I was attending Central, to Cheney where Lauren and Molly were attending Eastern.
And pretty much we had some of the best times ever in their small dorm room.
We met up with Molly at her brother's house where she now lives and were treated with some ice cream cones. =) Molly knows us well.
After that we started off the weekend with hitting up the malls and going to a movie and while we were driving around we heard that Silverwood had 10 dollar tickets for opening day!
There it is! Silverwood theme park just north of Coeur d'Alene Idaho!
We were really excited to ride the roller coasters can't you tell?
And there were no lines!! We just ran back around and rode again. It was soo awesome!
Except it did rain pretty good for an hour or so, so we took a break cause rain drops hitting your face while riding a rollercoaster through the air hurts.
So we decided to have Lauren drive us around in one of those old cars.
We ate some delicious ice cream. That's one scoop!
We rode the carousel.
It stopped raining and I went off to ride the sweet ride that take you up slow and than just drops you. And while I was doing that Lauren and Molly decided to ride this. It goes around like a ferris wheel and the little car you're in swings around and around. They hated it and only made it one time around. It sounded so fun but the only problem was you had to have two people to ride it.
Molly, my hero rode it with me even though she really didn't want to. But it was awesome and we made it all 16 times around. Thanks Molly!
Then it was back to the roller coasters until closing time.
By the end our heads were all starting to spin and we're ready to go.
Since we were in the neighborhood we had to stop at the Cabela's and check out the bargain cave. Our fathers would be proud.
We went home and dressed up, complete with heels for all of us, and went out to dinner. It was delicious.
Go molly go! Molly made us a sweet fire
where we roasted marshmellows and made s'mores.
Perfect.
The rest of the weekend was spend shopping, exploring Spokane, watching movies and just catching up. Lauren's so lucky to have such an awesome roommate.
